Please.....support.....your....claim.....of.....Osmanagich....lying.....in....public.

If you can't do this with links, quotes that are directly attributed to sources that can be found online or otherwise researched, then you are also a fabricator.

you asked for evidence of Osmaganic lying about a man made pyramid in Visoko
hows this

The Ministry of Culture of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to put an end to the funding of the project “Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.” Opinions on the subject as well as on the pyramid phenomenon are so divided in Bosnia that some public persons, who have denied the existence of pyramids, said that they would set themselves on fire if those were really proven to pyramids.

Numerous politicans have given support to the research in Visoko, formerly a royal town. Experts have protested and the people find all this interesting.

“The pyramids” are a natural formation

However, Culture Minister Gavrilo Grahovac decided to shut down the source of funding, at least this one, because this was not a serious archaeological research. The credibility of the people who collaborated on the project was “unreliable” and they have published their findings that were kept away from the experts.

The scientific research team has proved that the hill Visocica is a natural geological formation and its relief is the consequence of natural tectonic movement.

Suspicious activities

The present appearance of Visocica is the result of structural factors and climate changes at work. By acting on its own initiative, the foundation does not act in keeping with the existing regulations of archaeology, in spite of being registered at the B-H Justice Ministry, and its registration itself ought to be looked into.

Before coming to this conclusion, the Ministry consulted with the B-H Academy of Arts and Sciences, the committee for the preservation of national monuments, the Archeological Museum, the Tuzla Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, and the Federal Geology Institute.

Osmanagic: We have done more than the Ministry of Culture has in the last 12 years

Of course, the foundation responded.

They think that the Federation government has reasons to support the project because it has developed a positive image of B-H in the world. In fact, they think that it has done more than all the projects of the Ministry and the five aforementioned institutions put together have in the last 12 years. They are denying the claims that their staff is not qualified, they claim that they delivered the reports, and they are presenting their project in global proportions.

The head of the foundation, Semir Osmanagic, or the Bosnian Indiana Jones as they call him, has accused his detractors of having spent the last year amending the law and increasing the protected zones on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun 98 times and making excavations on the pyramid impossible.

“They are continuing to put pressure by threatening federal and cantonal ministries not to finance or cooperate with the foundation and its projects related to protection of the cultural legacy of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the foundation points out.

this bit made me laugh out loud for its hypocrisy

They think that the Federation government has reasons to support the project because it has developed a positive image of B-H in the world

B-H has gone from being a country torn by war to the laughing stock of the whole archaeological world
how is that a positive image

Newtron surely the biggest lie Osmaganic has said publically is that this was a 12,000 year old man made pyramid.
or didn't you hear him say that ?

You are as guilty as Osmanagich, if your standard of lying is that of the complete truth, with complete neutrality....

Surely, yea verily I say, surely the biggest lie of omission is when you say that this country is the laughing stock....of the archeological community. I know you won't bother to re-scan my posts. Amid all of my protests to allow research to continue there in Visoko, some of the greatest reasons to allow it to continue even though Dr. O "lied" re: 12,000 year age of the supposed pyramid are the people of B-H.

You are a callous, insensitive fool who wishes nothing but to be found right. My posts oppose yours so vehemently only because the actual work being done there is ultimately beyond archeaology and it involves people, not mouse clicks around a conspiracy forum or the posts of a scared little man who wants nothing better than to be the one who caught his father dressed as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. What have you done to promote the quality of life anywhere? With my defense of the freedom to continue the dig in Visoko, I am at least affording the chance for the people of Bosnia Herzegovina to live better lives, albeit in a very small way.

I hope the very best to you and your hollow glory Marduk. Enjoy the tin cup by your victory over lying archaeologists everywhere.

I expect to see your exclusive website that seeks to expose false research everywhere. It should, as Eric Clapton sang, change the world.

Well said Marduk - if in a rather acid manner.

One must look at the good side for the forces of "belief" they will now be able to claim that the hill was actually a pyramid and they were stopped by the evil people who actually wanted evidence to back up the claim of a pyramid instead of new age insistence.

Of course the evidence shows that Osmie was making stuff up big time.

Like the person you are supporting, Hanslune, you too seem to direct your argument in a direction of suspicion rather than that of actual fact digging.

No where in the previous post by Marduk that was placed here just a few posts ago was anything substantial revealed that showed the man was lying.

It showed he may have made an incorrect theory, he may have overstated the claims of the dig based on what knowledge he had, but saying that he intentionally, and the key here is intent, lied is rather accusatory.

In other words, come back both of you when you have amassed an equal or greater amount of evidence showing that the man lied about what he stated, rather than both of you being disappointed that he couldn't come up with the mythical figure of 12,000 years for your small imaginations.

Yes, Marduk, well said...for a troll. Dr. Osmanagich is the one working to add knowledge here, and all you are doing is sitting in your rocking chair on your porch and shooting at him with your air rifle like some tin can you want to knock over.

"But he said it was 12,000 years old. He said it was 12,000 years old. Liar, liar, Atlantean pants on fire!!'

you are such a sore loser
tell me
what percentage of this following statement do you think is true

Ordinary watchmakers repair our watches and put them into accordance with Earthly time. It is my theory that the Maya should be considered watchmakers of the cosmos whose mission it is to adjust the Earthly frequency and bring it into accordance with the vibrations of our Sun. Once the Earth begins to vibrate in harmony with the Sun, information will be able to travel in both directions without limitation. And then we will be able to understand why all ancient peoples worshipped the Sun and dedicated their rituals to this. The Sun is the source of all life on this planet and the source of all information and knowledge. ...And with a frequency in harmony, the Earth will, via the Sun, be connected with the center of our Galaxy. These facts become exceptionally important when we realize that we are rapidly approaching December 2012, a date which the Maya have marked as the time of arrival of the Galactic Energy Cluster which will enlighten us.

this is what Osmaganic believes
and its laughable
like your attempts to ridicule me for not believing in a 12000 year old pyramid built by aliens just were

you apparently want to take me on
are you sure thats wise

As for taking you on, that is something you will have to determine.

After all, this is a place where speech is spoken and ideas presented.

If I "took you on", it's only because you've incited the response.

~~~~~
Bait, bait, bait.
The word "theory" is included within the first seventeen words here. If you don't understand that theory is a prediction, a guess based upon available information, then you really don't understand the difference between truth and "Lying."
It's not as black and white and simple as you state, Marduk. If you can't give a definitive answer to a question, you qualify your statements and say that, to the best of my studies and knowledge - this is what I believe to be the case......the man didn't lie.
Repeat - He didn't lie. He posted a theory. Shaky and perhaps ill-founded, but to take a branding iron to him when its obvious he's basing his research on different thoughts and ideas is equally foolish.
My belabored point is this: if you restrict thought, sometimes thought that inhabits the perimeter of convention, then you may only find advances through sheer accident. Which in the area of archaeology may extend the field several centuries.
If you're okay with that, fine. But if there is really nothing on that hill where he's digging, why stop him?
Where is your logic there?
To answer the initial question, let's put it this way. I can't possibly believe in anti-gravity unless I see it. But I can't see it unless I believe its possible.
Here's another interesting bit:
Members of the Governing Board of Foundation "APBPS" headed by President of the Governing Board Semir Osmanagic hosted on Saturday the ambassadors and officials of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, China and Poland in BiH.
Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Khattab told Fena that the representatives of the diplomatic corps toured the Bosnian pyramid of the Moon and the complex of underground tunnels that, according to the hypothesis, connect all facilities of significance in the Bosnian pyramid valley.
I think that this is not the work of the nature, but that human hand had processed and laid these plates and blocks. This is supported by the fact that these pyramids, as well as those in Egypt, are oriented towards the sides of the world. Naturally, science will give the final word, but we are here to support the Foundation and see how we can help the research, said Ambassador Khattab.
In 2006, the Egyptian Government sent several eminent experts to the Bosnian pyramid valley and declared that there is more than enough reason to continue the cooperation between the Egyptian exports and the Foundation. Thus, in this year, several Egyptian experts would contribute to successful continuation of the research, Egyptian Ambassador told Fena.
They must all think he's a liar too!
Is Osman a liar, yep, a big one too-or is he delusional?
Lets see ..he says something is man made and geologists tell him its natural and he keeps saying its man made - is that lying or just a demonstration of pig-headed stupidity? I'd call it lying what do you call it?
Some other people who think he needs to be stopped
www.ipetitions.com...
Dr. Hawass says Osmi is lying about Barakat being sent by Egypt to help, here is his letter on that subject:
www.archaeology.org...
Why did he lie about this?
In particular he says:
Mr. Barakat, the Egyptian geologist working with Mr. Osmanagic, knows nothing about Egyptian pyramids. He was not sent by the SCA, and we do not support or concur with his statements.
Hey how is that UNESCO certification going?
Why does Dr. Schoch think the construction worker is making stuff up?
I would suggest that the Egyptian ambassador is not qualified to tell
lets ask a famous Egyptian who is what he thinks shall we
ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT
MINISTRY OF CULTURE
SUPREME COUNCIL OF ANTIQUITIES
Tuesday, June 27, 2006
Mr. Mark Rose
Archaeology Magazine
Dear Mr. Rose,
In response to your question regarding the “pyramid” in Bosnia, here is my answer:
The discoverer of the “pyramid” in Bosnia, Semir Osmanagic, who claims that a hill
near the Bosnia River is a man-made structure built before the end of the last Ice Age, is not a
specialist on pyramids. His previous claim that the Maya are from the Pleiades and Atlantis
should be enough for any educated reader.
This “pyramid” is actually a sloping hill near a village. This was famous in the Middle
Ages as a meeting place for merchants. What was found there is really just a mass of huge
stones, evidently a natural geologic formation. The stones do not match, and there is no
evidence that they were put together to form a solid structure. No one can say that these
stones were transported by human beings since each weighs approximately 40 tons. Apart
from its general outline, this hill bears absolutely no resemblance to the Egyptian pyramids.
Mr. Barakat, the Egyptian geologist working with Mr. Osmanagic, knows nothing about
Egyptian pyramids. He was not sent by the SCA, and we do not support or concur with his
statements.
Other archaeologists, such as a specialist in Prehistory at the National Museum in
Sarajevo named Zellika, have stated that Mr. Osmanagic is giving out false information.
What can Mr. Osmanagic use to show the age of the “pyramid?” No archaeological materials
have been found near the pyramid. Mr. Osmanic’s theories are purely hallucinations on his
part, with no scientific backing.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Zahi Hawass
Secretary General, SCA
www.archaeology.org...
oh look
he says Osmaganic is a liar as well
clearly with everyone saying hes a liar anyone who can't see that is either mad, stupid, or working for the pyramid of the sun foundation
Hey how is that UNESCO certification going?
well despite Osmaganic claiming in the international press that Unesco were going to visit before the end of 2006 and declare it a world heritage centyre there is still no mention of Bosnian pyramids on the Unesco website
Can we close this thread?
There is still a shadow of a reasonable doubt here.
There may be quite a few high ranking scientists and officials who are calling the man a liar, because he is insistent that they are not recognizing what he has found.
I am willing to admit there may not be a pyramid there. Repeat. I, Newtron, believe that there is probably no pyramid there.
But what Osmanagic has found is worthy of further study. Period.
Can you deny that?
You've once again managed to not answer the question: How can you deny that what he has discovered demands further inquiry and research?
All you have said is the obvious: he has wasted tax payers money, he has made Bosnia the laughing stock, he would normally be charged with fraud and possibly shot.
Except, for as long as he's been there....none of this has actually happened.
So, again, how can you deny that what he has done so far negates the call to further investigate was he has found?
Is it so hard to admit that though it may not be pyramid, though artifacts may have been planted, though he includes references to Atlantis to the bases for his theories of why this should be a "pyramid"....throughout all of this process, why can't anyone reading what this guy has actually found say, "Alright, let's arrest him, but then lets do the real science here and figure out what really is there?"
I'm thinking that you might be afraid to have your debunkery diminished by findings that are actually valuable. But that is just my opinion, which in this thread, is the equivalent of a punching bag.
Have at it slugger.
