The last seven states on the list are all located on the east coast including New York and New Jersey. Rhode Island has the smallest approval rating with a 74% disapproval rate. Out of all of America, only 4 states have a positive approval rating...and who really cares about Idaho and Wyoming?

Wow! Reading this post it felt like November '04 all over again....

It always struck me as telling that New York County (ie, Manhattan) was the darkest blue of all blue counties in the US back in '04... Kind of made one wonder just where these people who voted for Bush on the basis of thinking "the War on Terror" was helping improve our security were located, if there even were any...

Not to disparage any states or counties. They're all good. But I think the pollsters and pundits could draw some conclusions from the fact that areas of high population density - and hence more attractive terror targets- tended to vote Kerry.

Despite how terrible his approval is and that little law that states no president can run more than two terms, I still have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomache that Bush will be reelected. I don't know what kind of mojo he drinks but I want some.
