Fred Phelps, a 76-year old preacher and his 75 member Kansas based Church have been picketing the funerals of dead U.S. soldiers claiming that they support and defend a 'Fag-Nation'. Signs such as "Thank God for Dead Soldiers", "God Hates Cripple Soldiers" and "Thank God for Maimed Soldiers" have been held proudly by members of the Phelps' church. Laws have been passed across the US to minimize the damage of these protest by forcing the protestors to stand a certain distance from the funerals. The church claims 25,000 protest since its formation in 1991.

Let's face it. You just have to feel sorry for these idiots. They know absolutely nothing about reality. Anger is not the emotion for these guys, it's more like pity. The sad thing is you can't really ban these guys from protesting military church services, it's their first amendment right. They just don't realize the entire scope of their statements. While they hound dead soldiers for supporting a 'Fag-nation', they are supporting this same country by spending nearly $250,000 to send these members to various funerals and events. Idiots.
