"1 new U2U" alert won't go away. It's making me freakin' loco!!!!

Can somebody tell me how to get rid of it? That combined with the smell of hot roofing tar is giving me a headache THIS BIG!!!!

I get this from time to time as well. I would say delete your most recent u2u because sometimes it will not catch on that you have read it.

If that does not do it, try deleting a few more.

This has fixed the problem for myself in the past.

Live with it...

I say press the "delete all"- that should take care of all your problems but your headache.

Saving it will work too. I occasionally get this, especially from one member, every single one of the U2Us I get from them does this. I simply save them, and it goes away.

Delete the U2U??? BRILLIANT!

this happens to me also...

it usually goes away by itself though...

For some reason this happens usually from admins or moderators...
I have even had it happen from a member or two...

But almost always happens with admin u2u's mass sends

I've found from personal experience this happens to me on the occasion I have received a U2U that was sent to more than one recipient, but not all the recipients are yet to read the U2U.
