All that gold bullion

Has anyone heard any thing more about all the gold that was stored in the underground basement of the towers? This article speaks of what was stored there. Supposedly there were thousands of tons of silver and gold. Something like that should have been major news.

There were banks, foreign exchanges and all kinds of brokerage firms located at the WTC.There was about 4 or 5 banks that I can remember being in the underground mall when I used to work at 5 WTC. It was very well known this was all there. There was no cover-up. One of the reasons why the military was called in to watch over things so to speak.
