4.5 Generation fighters vs Generation 5 fighters

My "?" is this what are your views on how a 4.5 generation fighter would stack up against the F-22 in a engagement?

The RAPTOR is the only "true 5th generation" fighter in service today as of DEC of 05 to incorporate all aspects of VLO(stealth), robust supercruise/maneuverability and full inter grated avionics.


but the 4.5 generation fighters that are out now and "on the market" so to speak or ones soon enter service have "some" robust supercruise/maneuverability and sensor fusion but "limited" and some aspects of "stealth".

examples the RAFALE, TYPHOON and the SUKHOi line SU-35/37s

so the book is still out, who's to say that the only fighter the RAPTOR will face will be just of RUSSIAN or CHINESE design. the world is constantly changing a RAFALE or GRIPEN vs a RAPTOR just might not be out of the ? what are your views on the subject?
