I don't think we are going to hear about any finding until "They" deem it necessary to enlighten us. There are way too many parties holding the reins here. I know The Catholic Church will probably do anything in its power to stop alien existance disclosure.

They have a lot to lose if people find out that we might not be the only intelligent life. "If we were created in his image, then who the hell are these bozos?"

I have wondered if such a device could be built and it is nice to hear that such a device is now operational
