Dictionary definitions can greatly influence peoples' thinking.

Just found a real piece of crap.

FYI - in medicine, endemic means "Present or usually prevalent in a population or geographical area at all times, said of a disease or agent."

BUT - those eugenicists just won't go away. They still are trying to control our thinking and are trying to redefine the word and concept of endemic:

a disease that is constantly present to a greater or lesser degree in people of a certain class or in people living in a particular location.

Class?!?

What a load of pure crap.

I interpret those definitions to mean the same thing with slight differences in semantics.

While a classless society is a worthwhile goal, the stark reality is that we are far from achieving it.
