Sorry, I wasn't clear. My neighbor who works for the nyc sanitation department was one of the drivers who, along with the rest of the nyc sanitation department put in hours of overtime trasporting the debris to the landfill in staten island, which caused traffic on the west shore expressway for approximately 2-3 weeks.

Any staten islander can tell you of the line of sanitation trucks going to the landfill. I am going to look for the picture that was on the front page of the local paper, if i can find it.

The point of my story is, I live here, I saw what happened.

Thank you for your comment on my brother, as of this date his health is not affected. He was one of the funeral directors collecting remains for identification.

I'll just clear up a couple things.

First, I didn't claim that the flashes were anything. The post made was stating that fire extinguishers don't explode, such as in the movie Jaws. I stated that was a puncture, not intense heat applied and then...mentioned other common items that could explode when heat is applied.

I never stated that the "flashes" in the recent movie were conveniently falling hairspray. For that matter, I also didn't watch the video and jump right to "squibs" either.

Second. I also never stated I was a lover or a hater. The whole point was that so many people seem to jump to "they're guilty" ONLY on the basis of "you can tell" mentality. This is contrary to what this country is supposed to be about.

How does that make any of you different from the Bush Admin? Iraq was guilty of having WMDs based on "we can tell" and yet, in this case...it's ok. If you look at other motives...yeah, people hate Bush for what he does, how he speaks, what he says, how he ties his shoes, and hell...he even looks stupid.

All judgement type statements. Rather than pre-judge people, why not dig for something concrete and then attack? Isn't that what the Bush Admin should have done in Iraq? Isn't that the model that should still be upheld especially now?

I never stated that there was no corruption or mis-truths. This is the government after all. I only stated that evidence is needed before pronouncement of guilt.

Just read those statements. Overly corrupt with conclusive evidence. Not proven. Conclusive evidence. Not proven. How impossible the attack was. Going into space was once impossible too. And my personal favorite..."We recognize guilt when we see it" which is grossly similar to Nazis who knew purity when they saw it, cops that know evil when they see it, and is similar to the mantra of almost every group trying to justify hate in some way.

If I were to start banning people because "I know stupidity when I see it" then just how many complaints would come rolling in? In this case however, it's ok to use this mentality?

Anyway, the grand point is that we as a people are supposed to be better than just "knowing" people are guilty. I have no problem discussing, analyzing, digging, or exposing. I do have a problem when people claim corruption or law-breaking and then turn and act the same as those they accuse.




The only statement I made about the letter was asking, what did he do?
"WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID THAT SUMMER! We know it, and you know it, but we are not going to rest for a single moment until every one else knows too!"

So what did he do? They say they know it, but nobody can really answer. Why? Because they don't know. This letter is just the fishhook in the water. Nothing to exchange "atta boys" or anything.

Do you not think that evidence isn't that easy to come by? Even if there were evidence, people would still turn their backs, because they have programmed themselves to. Take the Gospels of Judas for starters, my catholic father immediately wrote it off as heracy without giving it any thought. The truth is not always self-evident to the people that don't want to see the truth. JFK assasination never relinquished any evidence, but do you think there was only one shooter? I know it sounds cliche', but people can feel when something is not right, and 9/11 was not right. Take operation "Northwoods" for instance. The military was going to blow up their own vessal just to justify a conflict with castro. Is that not deception? Would they have left evidence to support that? No, they would hide it and ignore the haters, just like they are doing now. We don't claim to have irrifutable evidence, though we do claim to know something is off. AAC

I cannot believe that this thread is still going. This is nothing but a bunch of jealousy, and I finally see it coming to light. Unemployment is way down, back to pre 9/11 levels and Commerce is on the rise. There have been NO terror attacks in 5 years. Now, coimmon sense tells you that they would have 'staged ' another one, however the administration comes out and explains what they have prevented, and still thre is no recognition, just more "we hate him and he is a liar". 9/11 was purpotrated by men who hate us, and their hate has spread into our country the way they wanted it too. In hte weeks following 9/11, everyone was patriotic, and wanted payback. If ANY of you on here, right now, state that on 9/11/01, you thought something fishy was going on, you are lying. Everyone, including our own government were caught off guard, and they admitted this in the 9/11 commission hearings.

The people have become complacent enough in America for another attack, because again, we are not expecting it as a country and continue to blame our government for everything.

Zed, no harm no foul. I see no end to this debate. I understand your statement about double-standards. I think it comes down to what people truly believe. We will always have two sides to this story. I just feel that the other side hasn't sifted through all the holes in the story. If they have and still reach this conclusion, these we have to end it with a gentlemens disagreement. I don't dispute that the waste was taken there. What I disputed was you said ALL the debris was taken there. I think you and I misunderstood what was being said. The steel was sold to China and melted down. As far as the other waste, were the different agencies allowed access to this site to go over the debris? Ligitimate question. I also thought we were having a good conversation. I'll look at your post after I write this and comment.

I actually try not to. IMO they are all pawns to the shadow government that really runs things.

I am not gonna go back and forth with you tit for tat. The upper levels of government are so closely watched by the news media and then us. Bush/Kerry can't go to the bathroom without us knowing about it.

Here in New York, Chuck Schumer calls a press conference 2 or 3 times a week. Our Mayor, bloomberg is on the radio every friday morning and takes calls from citizens, and yes, i was very fortunate to speak with him. My question was about the local roads where i lived, (not to go off topic.)

Let me go a step further, Are you also saying that, Wolf Blitzer Al Frankin, Howard Dean, Diane Feinstein, Robert Byrd really don't mean all the derogatory things they say about republicans?

And that the same is true for Repubs who say things about dems?

And Rush limbaugh expends all this time and energy to "put on a show" for us common folks?

I don't. I believe those people are really expressing their views. But, they are not part of the elite that really run this country (world).

Let me put out the name of John Mclain. (im not sure of spelling his name).

I think we can agree that he is a common man. He was the Media's boy up until about 2 months ago. The media stood behind everything this guy said and called him a rouge republican - until he agreed with the bush admistration. Then, he became the media's target.

Are you gonna sit there and tell me that this is somehow orchestrated?
