WW III add to the scenario

Ok I will start:

I will give a scenario, you guys add your thoughts.

With all the hooplah over Iran, it seems to me that people have forgotten the one nightmare scenario.


General Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan is assassinated. Fanatical muslims gain control of the country and the armed forces in the aftermath.

This is obviously not a prediction,,, just a what if

Well, you dont even have to ask. God help anyone thinking of assasinating him.

The India nuke Pakistan, Pakistan strikes back and it's over. That's it. Maybe China invade India after the nuclear exchange...

I think Vitchilo is correct, the radicals in pakistan probably hate the 'paganistic' indians more than they hate the far off jesus-freak americans.

And their missiles would be more effective used at a range to hit india, rather than trying to get them to hit the US.

OF course, a constant problem is that they might dissasemble one of the missiles, and then just carry the nuke warhead to an american or allied city.

An intersting question is, who wins the Indo-Pak war, with, say, radicals from waziristan running things from the pak side? And would we see the two countries merge afterwards, or either one grow at the other's expense?
