An interesting article.... but the locations seem way too far from each other to have relation.

It very well could be though. Good find.

If it's clubbers... distance means nothing. The clubbers are intergrated across this planet and often do "jobs" for each other. That a major funeral for "Bear" is on is the perfect time for "a great settling of accounts". A call from the "executive" out to the "chapters" is not disregarded - ever - soldiers march. Think Quebec '92-'98... war raged... folks were brought in by "The Machine" to do some work... they weren't Machine-crew. Ever hear of New York City? Yeah distance means zilch. But don't count out the fuzz or the Cosa Nostra, yet. I think the body count is maybe just starting.

Dunno, perhaps somebody tried to plug a leak of some kind then either won (and killed the leakers) or lost (and got killed by the leakers.

Imagine, a roadblok (feigned accident), then two more cars approach (totalling 4 now, 2 agents per car...) to block the escape route, and when they think they've won,

*bang*

stakkato of AR fire as 2 heavily armed figures ninja-leap out of the now trapped (later vanished) 5th car, at the roadblock, four agents go down immediately receiving multiple debilitating hits, the approaching group frantically tries to get out of their cars to get some cover, but it's too late, a sophisticated electronic pulse system remotely shuts down their engines, locks their steering and engages the door locks! Fatally trapped they desperately empty their entire mags into the nearby forest and then frantically attempt to climb through the broken windows - in futility, as tungsten cored rifle bullets tear through their necks and skulls, killing them instantly.

I wonder if the murders actually occured at the dumping ground though.

How far is the site from the nearest home? I read in one article that a man heard his dog barking at 3 am but thought nothing of it. Maybe he was close.

And if all he heard was the dog barking... well even from a good distance a gunshot is easy to hear. Let alone multiple gun shots.

Maybe it wasn't gunshots. We know one guy was tied up in a trunk, lending credence to the idea that this is simply a dump site. If it is, where did these bodies come from?

[EDIT] www.cbc.ca...

Apparently, the bodies all came from the GTA. This definitely is a dump site, but why? WHy would you use two cars to transport eight bodies?

Not much new data... 'cept that the vics were GTA. Not surprised. We should be able to figger-out what's up when the ID's are released. I'm still thinkin' bikers, cops, the mob in that order.
I've been assured by some "homeys" at the fed level that it isn't the Jamaicans, Tamils or any "other" cultural group. I don't know what to make of that - I got it from 2 folks who I don't feel would lie to me, but uh, aren't bikers, cops, tow truck drivers all cultural groups to some extent and don't they frequently interact in the course of their "careers" anyway?
I think they're just being PC and everyone wants to avoid panic.
I fear the body count may grow as the "pond" ripples outward.
I think bretmania may have been close to the mark with the link he posted earlier. Take a look at it - it's like right out of the movies - If I was a writer/snitch/parrot/profiteer/weasel like that Lavigne fellow I'd already have "pitched" it to the CBC, NFB and LaLaLand - 'got "Oscar" written all over it.
Hey if anbody gets anything new please post ASAP - this story won't go away... even NPR's carrying it - instead of "Invasion America" or "Bush-league" news?

On CTV Newsnet they said that police have sectioned off a piece of land close to the site of the bodies and are surrounding and looking into a home on the land.

They also said the home is known for biker activity.

But this info is all just breaking...

The vehicles - a grey Pontiac Grand Prix, a silver Infiniti SUV and a green Chevrolet Silverado tow truck, with a silver Volkswagen Golf attached to the hitch - were taken to provincial police headquarters in Orillia, Ont., north of Toronto.

There is a farm in that area that is a known Bandido's hangout.

Between that and the police statements that the victims were all known to each other, I'm convinced this is biker activity.

They said on uk tv over here could be Mafia related or a bikergang incident.

Another news story that sounds like a movie

did it cross anyone else's mind that this bizarre hit style murders and the crazy intruder at the white house could have some connection and something really major is going down???? or is it just nutty me

The vehicles are going to OPP HQ in Orilla for forensics. This is an all-OPP show to this point.. not sharing at all. Something's up. There will be a good reason for this - heh, heh. It's their jurisdiction but I'd have thought the Toronto lab would've been the boys for the job (1st rate facilities) too, unless they WERE the boys for "the job".
Perhaps not. I smell a "Task Force" a-brewin'... the politicos mun/prov/fed are going to have to come up with some "shmooz" cuz this thing has gone viral - made an Italian station I was watching for election results... I don't speak Italian but I did hear the word "Cosa Nostra".

If it was bikers then who? I havn't seen any Outlaws in Ontario for ages now, I thought they were too damned scared of the HA's.

Are there any Casino's in the area? This could be Casino Justice... which also does not rule out any Orginized Crime involvement either.

"They're saying this is an active investigation and for reasons of operational security they're not giving us anything else," Balfour reported Sunday. "They're not even telling us if it's connected to the original finding of the four vehicles and the eight bodies."

Police have set up a "containment zone" around the house, measuring about 6.5 kilometres by three kilometers, and have also created a no-fly zone.

From sympaticomsn.ctv.ca...

Smacks of a meth lab, or something much more serious. Like a new dumpsite.

The more I look into this, the more it seems that this may have something do to with money laundering and maybe a Casino scam thrown into the mix. They were left there, just waiting to be found, like it was a "warning" or somesuch. If this were a regular hit, don't you think they'd clean up a bit?
