This is actually me while in the AF. It was taken at Aviano AB Italy during the Kosovo conflict (Operation Allied Force) It is an AGM 65 being prepped for use. I am the guy in the black (like it matters)

How do they aim this thing?
There's a porthole to the left of the big gun, but it seems more like "look ma, I'm shootin!" rather than hitting the target?

maybe they have a camera that feeds thenm live video that they use to aim with, , and maybe it also records what they are shooting at in case of a friendly fire incident or civilian death, or maybe they use what tanks use

See my previous post. The bubble in the back is for the spotter to watch for antiaircraft fire and SAMs. The pilot has a hud on his left, puts the plane into a left back, selects the target, and gets a CCIP put on the hud. As long as he holds the CCIP on the target, the rounds hit.

This isn't a video game. Maybe we could start a thread to post pics of the mutilated corpses left behind from all the big booms and war toys. Wouldn't that be bad ass?? Stealing oil is not "helping."

This may not be a video game but it isn't a perfect world either. Man has always engaged in war and will always continue to do so, as such tools for war are necessary. You know the saying, guns don't kill people...

Don't forget about the tankers and cargo support, without such it would be impossible to reach the objectives.

haha yeah it's awesome to see pictures of what countries have put so much time and our 'money' into that are mainly built for war/violence/destruction

I really hope all aren't serious with the thumbs up...maybe it's time to stop looking at the fascination with technology and start looking more towards what it's purpose is in the first place

all I see are war machines...I didn't know war/negativity was looked so fondly upon...PEACE!

What's not worth it? I'm not taking any mod actions in this thread. I said I wouldn't, I haven't yet, and I won't in the future. So really, please do let me know what you had to say.
