I guess as an Iranian it is traditional for me to start the pissing contest with a inflammatory comment, seeing as that is how all the Iranian threads
are treated by our American friends. But I'll pass on that, and congratulate our American friends on the strides that they have made during the last
century, and the growth in technology, which they have generated. Hopefully these ugly weapons of war will not be used by either side, and a peaceful
solution can be found to this problem, because at the end of the day it is always the civilians and the weak who are injured by wars.

Well said Sep, I agree with you 100%.
Lets hope there is moderation and dialogue on both sdes and that we all learn lessons of the past.

I find it rather funny that on any of the other threads, which spread Iranian "Military Might" propaganda, you haven't refered to them as "ugly."
In fact, it's not until now (in reviewing your posts that I've seen), in which you even speak out against the use of any weapons. Odd...
Other than that, yes I hope war does not come between our two great countries. I know for a fact that I do not know the Iranian perspective on things,
and I do not claim to. Neither do I trust everything I see on the media, nor consider everyone of Iran to be a "terrorist." My only reason for
starting this thread was simply to point out the futility of these "Look at pictures of my countries 'Military Might'" threads. In fact, on a
personal level, I would encourage people from Russia, China, Taiwan, Israel, South Africa, etc, etc, etc... to do just the same.

Unfortunately I do not get the chance to post much in this website. I do visit it from time to time, I thought perhaps this thread was the best one in
which to post my thoughts. I can state now, that any weapon regardless of its origin is "ugly" in my view.

Personally, I do not think that that is what the fellow posters tried to do. Since recently there has been a spotlight on the Iranian military
capabilities, I think that perhaps some of the fellow members would have enjoyed seeing pictures of the IRGC in action. Also what we should keep in
mind is that, of the 12 threads now on the first page of the weaponry section, which are dedicated to Iranians, 8 of them were started by
non-Iranians. So I don't think it was an attempt to show off, but rather an attempt to expose some people to the capabilities of Iran, and obviously
from the response, it got some attention, and created some curiosity, which led to the other 8 threads starting. Admittedly though, there are cultural
differences between us, so perhaps that is why you got the wrong impression.

Yes, I would look forward to that.

The USA, without a doubt has the best fighting forces and weapons in
the world!
That doesnt mean we must use them irrationally. I hope.

Pictures of AMERICAN Armed Forces
While I find this thread very patriotic and shows the well founded intentions of the poster.
I have to say that as an American myself, I don't need the reassurance of pictures to tell my how proud I should be of the military might of our
nation.
We all know that no nation around the globe can match our superiority.
With that out of my mind as my personal opinion I will said. . .
No pictures are really necessary
But thanks for reminding us anyway.

Ah, but the four threads that primarily highlight just picture of Iran's "Military Might" were started by Iranians. Those are the threads I have a
problem with. Sure, other threads were started to discuss Iran's weaponry, but there are tons of threads discussing American weaponry as well. How
many just showing off pictures?

Knights
I will be honest to you, I also had tears in my eyes, sometimes in our hasty way of judging our leaders we forget that US is our home and our nation
and not matter what we All should be proud.
We still a great nation and still at the top of the world.
