After doing a lot of crunching and trying out different Linux OSs I've found the Debian Linux 2.4.27-2-686 release to be faster and more effecient in crunching numbers. However, Windows is still king for this purpose.

Just in case anyone is interested in trying Linux and Seti combinations. I'm going to keep trying difernt combinations and will report whenever.
