Are you talking about posting a reply, including a hyperlink?

try to do it manually.

example:

your_description_here
* use square brackets instead of the curly ones here

that's BBCode for a hyperlink, with descriptive text.

Alternatively, you can just paste the url as is, and it should work as a link.

exapmle:

www.your..._link_here

Okay, I've done a trace of the problem.

It seems that you are somehow ending up with a double http string.

http...://www.antiwar.com/orig/hirsch.php?articleid=8788

just make sure that when you paste, the original http in the box is highlighted, and all will be okay. otherwise you will be appending the url after the http string.

When you use the hyperlink prompt, the first box is if you want to rename your link, like this:

ATS Todays Posts

Just leave it the first box blank, click OK and enter your URL the second time. Then it should look like this:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The same thing happens when i`ve tried to use the the hyperlink icon button, now i just do it manually like mechanic 32 suggested, which i think is easier even if the button did work properly for me.

Try and post a link here, so we can make sure you've got it figured out.

Then if it doesn't work, we can use the quote button to check the code.

And, by the way, when you use a quote in your post, be sure to type outside of the quotes.

use the enter key to insert a couple empty lines after the "/quote]"

I see that you got my u2u. Let me know if everything is working for you now.
