This is very cruel, Arixona R. because poor old Estragon remembers them when they were not retro! You have excellent taste, Sir and as for Jo Grant -the actress Katy Manning - what a dish! Chjildhood romance is re-remembered.
UFO should not have been overlooked -it was great: try this site: www.framecaplib.com...
happy gloating!

Whatever happened to Mighty Mouse & the Pink Panther?

I know times have gotten pretty bad on the old cartoons, but I think Space Ghost could've done better than to MC a show that's so cheesy that I've sworn off of pizza. At least he ditched the two kids & the monkey...

How about Acri Creature Feature?
The Man From U.N.C.L.E.?
Get Smart?
The Outer Limits? I liked that one nearly as much as The Twilight Zone.
The old Batman series with Adam West & Burt Ward? The old Superman too...

Okay, I admit it; For me, "retro" is when a lot of ATS members weren't even a gleam in their daddy's eye...

Heh! What do you think about the new He-Man cartoon?

I still have the DC comics from when he first appeared teamed up with Superman in a 16-page insert...And then a cartoon series appeared, disappeared for over a decade, a movie was made but didn't score very well in the box office and now a *new* series is back on TV.

MidnightD, I don't know about your part of the wolrd; but in the UK some of those old DC comics are worth a fair bit of money -get them insured and keep 'em safe.

It's actually Big Chuck and little John - you from Cleveland? . Their show sort of annoys me, for what ever reason. Though, both seem to be good guys and have done a lot for the community.

The Wizard Comics Price Guide printed over here is published by Marvel. Yep, you guessed it...An *almost* subtle proof of biased pricing printed in those pages.

Seriously though, my comic collection represents nearly 40 (!) years of collecting...Numbers into the *thousands*. After all these years & two seperate moves that covered half the country each time, they're still in good shape (Not *mint*, but overall pretty good).

I know that ultimately the value is what the market will pay; but that sounds like a phenomenal archive.
Yours enviously,
Estragon
