That is terrible! No judgment on you for laughing, but I have a few for that father.

I nearly cried! Poor kid.

That was bad - I don't blame you for laughing though.

I saw that a few months ago on my computer and it made me jump out of my skin, so what it did to that poor kid I don't know!

Whoever took that video should be ashamed of themselves - the poor kid is probably still having nightmares.

I have a friend who has done similar things to me so many times and I hate it! And he knows I hate it and that makes him do it all the more. He just loves to scare the bejesus outta me! I''ve gotten really mad at him.

But I'm an adult! I feel so sad for that kid. I hope it didn't scar him for life. And his dad there laughing!

Hahaha... that's just funny and evil at the same time. If I was that kid, I wouldn't be upset as much as getting scared/tricked, but rather that the camera caught that embarassing moment on tape. I probably would've gone postal on whoever was filming!

Father Knows Stressed

This example illustrates the difference between the roles of mothers and fathers.

It is the mother's job to nurture their children until they are strong enough to go out into the world.

It is the father's job to make sure their children are psychotic enough to make the world tremble with fear when they do.

On the bright side, many years hence when this boy grows into a young man, climbs his way to the top of a clock tower and proceeds to shoot at passersby with a deer rifle, he will have the satisfaction of knowing that the moment which turned him from a normal boy into a psychotic killer-to-be is captured on video and ready to be admitted into evidence for his insanity defense.

That is the sad part, the video is on the net now and will never go away. When that child has children his father will be showing it to them and still laughing. When that child is in school it will be on every other students cell phone, when he goes to a friends party it will magicly play on the tv or computer.

I'll bet you he grows up to be either a psycho or one tough hombre, fighting everyone that dares show it.

Its one thing to do something like that to a kid, but a whole new level of sickness to put it on the net to haunt the child for the rest of his life.

mho

The person operating the camera should have consoled the kid, not kept filming.
I feel bad for the kid.

Well that was funny, dont judge me!

The guy should have stopped filming, didnt need to record up every whimper like the way he did. Maybe, the kid will toughen out, he sure as hell needs to if he's going to cry that long for something that silly.

Notice how freaked out the kid continued to be even after that initial "jump"? The boy obviously has issues and I suspect that this isn't the first time that the wonderful father has gone about trying to destroy the kid's psyche.

Maybe the father was trying to toughen the kid up a little. The kid seemed a bit momma's boyish. I sat through The Exorcist when I was younger than that kid and look how I turned out.

The sad thing is that a little girl probably would have handled that better.

Peace

That child is probably traumatized for life now. What a poor excuse for a parent

i am pretty certain that isn't the way to "toughen" a kid up. men who grow up with their fathers ridiculing them publicly are going to be constantly afraid and insecure. i hardly think the Father who pulled the stunt is very "tough", is that the entertainment of a real man?

Traumatized for life? You guys can't be serious. It was a little prank. The fact that the kid continued crying is only further reason to "toughen this kid up a bit." What happened to raising children that aren't pansies? I may be the insensitive one here to say it but...This kid is a wuss. It isnt like he was 3 years old. He is more than old enough to realize a joke/fake picture and to get over it.

He wont be mentally scarred for life. He will look back at this in 10 years and have the same reaction we all did...he will laugh his ass off...or the bird flu will get him...either way, you guys should relax.

I suppose by some of the reasoning here that a couple of smacks up side the head are O.K. Or maybe its O.K. to use a little stick to whup on a kid.

This video isn't depicting some kind of corrective action, or a freakish, coincidental occurence. It's sole intent is to provide Daddy some twisted amusement completely at the expense of that kid's emotions. And then, perversely publish them to the Internet.

I can't imagine what that child is starting to think about Daddy.
