Welcome to the site... never been into Astrology, but I am an Astronomy lover, so if there may be anything I could assist you with, just send me a U2U.

I don't follow it the way I used to at all, but I may know a thing or two of interest.

What do you want to talk about exactly?

I'm totally into astrology. I have been for four years now; it's really accurate at describing people's personalities and psychology. It's not just the power of suggestion I swear it really works.

There's much much more to astrology than just the basic Star Sign (which is actually the Sun Sign). Astrology includes all the planets in the signs. There's also house positions (the twelve sectors that correspond to the twelve signs). Planetary aspects are also included.

An individual's astrological natal chart is determined the moment he/she is born and takes their first breath. The postition the planets were in at that moment then influence that person in the same way.....the moon influences the tides. The human body is mostly water so the idea that the planets could have a magnetic pull on us as well isn't as far fetched as it may seem.

In astrology the main factors are the planets, signs, and houses, and also the aspects the planets make in a horoscope. Each one has it's own characteristics; the planets signs and houses sometimes have similarities between eachother but in different ways. I'll explain it as well as I can:
The planets are WHAT energy is expressed,
the signs are HOW the energy is expressed,
and the houses are WHERE the energy is expressed.

PS. The Ascendant is very important; it shows how you appear to the world while the Sun Sign is your true self. The Ascendant is on the first house cusp. It chanes every two hours so you need to know your time of birth to know your ascendant.
