How does one get 'permission' to post in a topic ?

What topic are you attempting to post in?

Certain topics you need a certain status to post in.

There are several different forums you may not be able to post to for different reasons. You need to specify which forum you are trying to use before it can be determined whether you can be granted access to it or not.
