Who are the real terrorists?

Washington D.C.: The National Security Archive today hailed the release of more than 16,000 secret U.S. records on the Pinochet dictatorship in Chile, and Washington’s role in the violent overthrow of the Allende government and the advent of the military regime to power. The release, totaling over 50,000 pages of State Department, CIA, White House, Defense and Justice Department records, represents the fourth and final “tranche” of the Clinton Administration’s special Chile Declassification Project.

Great link

I wonder how many other dictators have been supported by CIA...

Nearly all of them. Or at least those in counties we already defeated. Since the cold war and conflicts with russia, CIA has financed and trained the very groups they are now being attacked by. Or so general media and others have released. The Taliban were trained by CIA to attack the soviets, as were many other groups. They helped them because an enemy of our enemy is a friend...or so it was thought.

Alot of what happened in result of those actions was brought upon us by Politicans and hidden players strikeing out...while trying to make more profit.

I'm sure a few dictators will be revieled, but not until after they have served their purpose.

There seems to be one common thread regarding our enemies. When they do their own thing and refuse to submit to our (hidden) will or to the IMF's dictates, they immediately become the next boogie man.

Well, it is rather silly to bit the hand that feeds you...
So yes, of course the US gets a little ticked when they won't play nice....
