Now this is thing that bugs the heck out of me everyday. Why is it that nowadays I could go virtually anywhere in the world and say "I hate Christians", or, "I hate white people" (if i wasn't white obviously
)and to be perfectly frank very few people would care, certainly I would not get beaten up walking home at night or put into Prison. Why is it that my mother cannot get a Sunday off from work to go to church while her muslim colleague can go and pray 5 times a day, whenever she feels she has to. (my mum and her colleague are both midwives so leaving whenever you want is a bad idea, no?)
I'll try for another example, the Year is 1998, High School, two "coloured" boys in my school come up to me and make anti-christian comments, I, in my anger, made a racial comment back. The two boys attacked me and left me there AND went and told a teacher I was being Racist. I said that I made the comments as a reply to there anti-christain comments and was not taken seriously, they also claimed they attacked me to due to their rage at me "insulting" their faith. Why should a Christian not be allowed to get as angry at anti-christain comments as muslims or jewish people are at anti-semitic or anti-muslim comments. Why is this such a taboo?
To finish, I'll just say I have no intentions of saying that I condone ay sort of violence from or given to any religion, I'm just stating that perhaps people should either; take racism as "dust in the wind", and take as much offense at it as if someone said you were "fat"; or perhaps people should start taking religions of any kind, and not simply think their own religions are the only useful ones.
Thats enough of me ranting
I look forward to your comments.

Whyfish -

That post has 3 or 4 major punches in it. I have opinions that I could share, but I am not sure where to start.

Is that good thing

Hmm well if your not busy start with anything, I'd like feedback on this. It seems to be a real issue to me. Anyone else have any thoughts?
