The video runs about 5 minutes in wmp and in QT. For those of you old enough to remember when he was the voice of the evening news, enjoy the delivery of an American icon.

For those reading this who might not remember Mr. Cronkite, there was a time when he could, arguably, have made a successful run for the presidency.
