NO every single plane was grounded down to 152’s with the threat of permanent suspension of there license or military intervention.

That may be what the FAA intended, but across the street from my office was a small airport. My desk window faced the runway. Private planes and a few business jets took off and landed following 9/11 at about the same frequency as before.

A few years ago their was protests by farmers and truck companies about the price of fuel, they blocked the fuel from coming out of the depots, thus managing to bring the whole contry to a hault in about 3 days.

In the end everyone was panic buying and the contry ran dry of petrol.

Everyone also started emptying the shelves and this was just after a few days, what happens when its a week? I know, it turns into a riot.

But lets go for it anyway, maybe its just me, but i think i'd be kinda fun.
