Help me fight back - Enron and Bush....

A good friend of mine is a supporter of Bush (sadly). He sent me the below email. I am independent, not democrat or republican. We all know that all presidents within the last few decades do things that are illegal and/or immoral, especially Bush.

Can someone come up with arguments against the below? Bush can't be innocent in the Enron garbage.

Have you ever considered the fact you may be wrong?

Enron had a lot of "behind closed doors" deals with the Clinton Administration.

what you say is true, both sides are corrupted. the only difference being that each side has its own core of supporters that is the only difference. But I suggest that people focus on pulling the curtain down that covers the people at the very top as just exposing the pols will only lead to their replacement with more robots.

Very simply, money follows power and power follows money. So long as business requires government's sanction to operate, business will seek to influence government. If you want to reduce the influence of money in government, reduce government's power.

Thank you for the input. I was unable to find any connections between bush and Enron as well. I was wrong - I will let him have this one.
