I met a woman once who had a similar pyramid but it was from Egypt and filled with sand from the Valley of the Kings. It was brass though, and
seamlessly sealed.

When the heck was that picture taken, anyways? Both GHW and Babs look a bit younger in that pic.. and the items behind them on the shelves (along with the coloration of the decor) suggests it was taken awhile ago.

Its a golden capped pyramid. Bush sr. was at the 1999 New Years event in which the tip of the pyramid was going to be capped with gold.
Was cancelled for a later time though.
