Good point soficrow, expats, military and US government people posted around the world could account for the 'hits' at some of these countries...like Togo and Congo.

There is a US Embassy in Vatican City, could be someone there

In Portugal we learn English and another language, usually French or German, since the 5th grade, but the government thinks that English should be taught since the beginning, along with Portuguese.

The English classes started as an option when I was in the 9th grade, so anyone 42 years old or younger has learned English.

I don't see "banned" anywhere on Loam's mini-profile.....

Maybe a glitch in the matrix.......

Yep, Loam's back to member status for me and all.

Strange. Must've been a glitch alright.

Very impressive. ATS is known from corner to corner of our globe.

And only getting bigger.

...likely a confused Google Search, they probably mistook ATS for something else...such as:

VA: Another Tormented Spirit
AS: Another Try-hard Samoan
WS: Another Taro Sandwich
CG: Another Tourist Shot
GA: Another Trade-Talk Sabotaged

Wow, I never would have thought that people from so many countries accessed ATS.

And since when did so much of Africa have Internet service?

And as for the single Vatican City hit, well come one, who else would be accessing ATS in Vatican Cuty put his HolirRollerness the pope.

Seriously, I think it is the pope.

I bet why Cubans are allowed to come to ATS, is because so many people are not pro-USA.

There are a few countries I think probably came to ATS after searching;
Atomic-Site-Tests.

Anyways, that's a sweet new piece of software Skeptic dude.

I dont know if its been said, but we also need to take into account PC's per capita. Not only do the top ten nations on this list have huge populations, they also have a high % of PC's per family.

Id say in the USA right now I bet its at least 1.5 per household.

Since western news is mostly nonsense that can convince you of strange things like this. Why WOULDN'T we have internet?

Or maybe their not anywhere near the hopelessly closed society CNN/BBC keeps telling you there are? Ever considered that?

ANYWAYS!

What I would like to know is if this list includes search engines.

If I make a search on Google for pages in ATS with the letter A, it gives me 152,000 results, Altavista gives me 117,356, etc.
