Ran across the term K.I.D. ULTRA today in the Russian Nuke in Texas story at ken-welch.com. Anybody know what sort designation this might be?

Any help would be appreciated.

After looking at this website I think that K.I.D. ultra might be the name of the ship, or a government intercept ship, or possibly a code for some kind of operation....all of it is pretty unclear, maybe you should listen to some of the sound bytes to really be sure...maybe its been misinterpreted. sorry I couldnt be of any more help.

I asked my granfather, he served 40 years for the Air and Space command in Russian at Spletske and Saratov, he said that he is unfarmiliar with K.I.D. ultra but he said it is neither a ship or a plane. He said that it is either a)the name of the project or b)the name of the nuke.
