Post Reply Buttons are Missing!!!

I just noticed that in 'The Last To Post Wins!' thread, on the current last page, that the Post Reply and Quote buttons seem to be Missing!!!

Does anyone else see this??:

I once had a browser problem related to font loading, and I thought this was a similar problem, but when I went back one page (to page 141), all the buttons were there. And that's how I posted my last post there.

btw - I did try refreshing the page several times, but still the buttons were missing on page 142 of that thread..............


If someone else sees the same thing that I did let me know that I'm not just going CRAZY. Please!!!

Okay, I'm CRAZY!!!

Either that, since some joker put like 25 smileys in his post, that maybe my browser is timing out? Similar problem before with fonts.

btw - my internet connection also creeps along......boohoo

You're not alone the same thing happened when I tried the link - go back a page and everythings okay again.

I'm on dial-up so perhaps that's part of the problem, but I think the main problem is the browser.

I use Internet Explorer fwiw, but when the buttons disappear - as they do now and then, both on this site and others - it's fixed by opening the browser in another window and dumping the one you started with.

Works fine for me...

Hmm... when a thread is locked can a mod still reply to it? I'm pretty sure they can. Maybe that is why so far all the mods can see it and all the members can't. I'll check the thread myself.

EDIT: Missing for me to. So I think my guess may be right.

I have edited the post containing ALL those smilies. It was causing the "post reply" and "new thread" buttons to be pushed WAY off screen.

Seems fine now.

Problem seems to be fixed it's working okay for me now.

Whoever fixed it thanks alot.

As an aside, if you can't post on the last page (p 142), due to a slow loading time or whatever, you can still click on POST REPLY on page 141 or page 1 or whatever page and it will post your reply.

And yes, I found that when I went back to a previous page, it worked o. k.
