Since about 0603240120Z the board has been acting strangely with lots of MySQL errors and long loading times. Anyone else getting this?

Yeah, I had some problems a little earlier, and it still occassionaly loads slowly, but it seems to be picking up.

Here, I am having blinking ads? and the site is blinking too.
Have virus-checked..

Yep, had the SQLs for a while too, slow loading times aswell but I can deal with that.

It took me about 30 mins to get in earlier on. Apparently, the server was undergoing maintenance - or so the error message claimed.

Luckily I eventually managed to get in. I was already starting to panic....what was I going to do without ATS for a whole day?!?!?

click on the "Board Home" button and you'll see were getting hammered with visitors tonight. What is so special about this day i don't know but we have more registered users and more visitors then we have had in a very long time.

I'm hoping the problem is that simple.

It's looking like we hit a record of most members and most guests at the same time. For a brief period, ATS was hammered from significant traffic.

The database server couldn't keep up.

Reboot.

All is well.

Back to your regularly scheduled wearing of the tin.
