former visitor, recent member wanting to say hello and thanx

just wanted to say hello to all members and all visitors.
wanted to express thanx to whoever runs this site, because i've never been to a forum site with such a wide variety of strange, as well as everyday topics.
i do have something on my mind though that needs to be confronted.
I am a HUGE fan of David Icke and his work. as a matter of fact it was the David Icke forum that prompted me to join ur site. I was disappointed to see that right around the same time i became a member that the forum has been closed for all contributions until he begins posting. He really is a busy man, with his radio appearances, upcoming conferences, traveling, his own website as well as his weekly newsletter. Can it really be considered fair to the members of this site to close that forum down because he hasn't begun posting? In all reality, how long has it been since the infamous John Titor contributed, and he is still debated and talked about on this site. I hope that this introduction doesn't inflame or agitate anyone, i would just like to be able to contribute to a forum of which I have the greatest interest. Do any of the other members who are or aren't fans of Icke and his work feel this way? if so please relate to me.

Welcome to ATS. Hopefully you will still like it here even though the David Icke forum is down.

i wouldn't let such a small thing turn me off to such an incredible site. all i can do is wait and see if that forum opens up again. i'd like to see it happen by popular demand. it seemed to me that most members had no problem posting with or w/o mr. icke's inclusion. thats why i posed the question would anyone else still like to contribute to that forum even though mr. icke himself is not contributing?
