Hi Shadow,
As a huge Shield fan I can honestly say I didn't crie at that part because I refuse to admit weakness. I guess people around here haven't watched the show, which I sugest buying the DVDs from the frist season and working your way up. Completely worth it to me, but to each his own I guess.

Also Shadow, obviously they were hinting at new season. Any ideas when it's going to start or the future plot developments. Personally I see Ronnie coming out of the shadows to become the key team member (hes been in the background for years). And of course Shane is going to be busted, although I can only speculate to the consequences. Might be the series finale but so far the writers have been on point for the most part during duration of the series. Shame there aren't more fans out there.

Sorry to repost but if you've watched the whole series you could see what was going to come between Shane and Lem. As soon as Shane was the only one not being tailed you could tell something bad was going to happen. Great emotion acting from Shane by the way, I state again that I didn't cry during that part but there was definetly something in my eye (non crying related).

I don't think shane ever forgave Lem for burning the cash from the moneytrain.
I cn't wait till the next season to see if Kavanaugh is still nipping at vics heels or if he's had an *accident*.

Its hard to say but man Shane and Vic interactions are going to be very interesting you know Vics going to to find out about Lem and things are going to come to a head over that. Shane emulates Vic has since really the start of the show and this latest action is really not that different perhaps (in Shanes eyes) as what Vic did in the begining when he killed to protect the Team.

I agree with executioner that Shane could still be holding a grudge over the money train money burning. It really looked like Vic still had faith in Lem though. I would like to Ronnie come more into the spotlight this season he has been in the background so long, but he is IMO one of the smartest members on the team hes kept his own butt covered better then really any of the others.

Dutch is no slouch either so he might get close to the truth of what really happened that night. Well while hes not trying out his new pimping skills on the hotie rookie cop
that should make for some good filler inbetween the strike team.

I dont really know about Kavanaugh role in next season though I thought he did a excellent job this season.

Hey Shadow, good insight

I see what you're saying here, as you're taking into account how Shane has rationalized things. My feeling is that the dude Vic killed in the pilot wasn't actually part of the team, so expendable. Shane tries to be like Vic but has consistently errored when he tries on his own. I think Cavanaugh knows Shane did it as Shane wasn't being followed and used the grenade from the recent bust.

When the next series airs I wouldn't be surprised to see Cavanaugh and Vic discussing the matter and planting doubts in Vics head. Either that or Cav goes after Shand and brings the team down, which was his ultimate goal. I hope he doesn't go after Ronnie though, he's always been a favorite of mine though he doesn't get much screen time. Also Shane wasn't out to protect the team (IMHO), he was just covering himself. You could tell as soon as the baby talk started what Shane was going to do (although more enlightened people saw it coming a mile away).

I can see Dutch getting into a lot of trouble with the cop he's trying to get with. Remember in an earlier episode there was a mention of Dutch having a laptop with underage porn on it, so we know he might be a little messed in the head. I can see Vick getting something on Dutch and in a way blackmail him or something into helping Vic out.

Thank you

I agree I knew something was up when he started talking about the new baby and no other team mates were showing up, that when I knew it wasnt going to end well. I honestly didnt see the grenade comming until it happened I thought he was if anything going to shot him.

I also agree that though Shane tries to emulate Vic he fails time and time again. Just like when he tried to play a Vic role with Anthwon Mitchell and the debacle that turned into for him.

Good point about Dutch he is indeed alittle messed. Like after he caught the serial killer and that little attempted cat strangling incident he had pops to mind. He is very intuitive and skilled when it comes to investigations though. He was the one that first lead Kavanaugh into the Money train wasnt he?

This season was good man...like season two good. Forest Whitaker really made the show this time around. The last episode when he and Vick got down to it was crazy. Plus the whole story line with the wives was genius. Such a well written show. The only thing I know is that Mackie's last words were "i'm gonna find out who did this, and Im gonna kill him." Can't wait for next season, I think Shane might end up MIA. The strike team is dwindling down and I wonder who they will bring in to take Lem's place. Should be entertaining to say the least.

Just wanted to add a quick question. Does anyone think that huge dude that the Strike Team sent to Mexico is going to have a play in the new episodes. I use to think he was going to break out of jail and come and wipe out everyone. Anyway, you think he's a moot point by now?
