It matters that someone's death is being used to promote a game for a stupid piece of electronics. So what if it is just a clue? It is wrong to win anything from such a game.

I am sorry, but it appalls me that any of you could want to play.

I refuse to believe it's a game.. too much sensitive information.. think this game-stuff is just a big cover up... but we'll see what they'll pull out of their sleeve in 2 weeks

I've only just joined ATS but must admit I find the whole game in bad taste.

Based on fake predictions which were some of the most bloody atrocities in the past few years - maybe I'm out on a limb it just seems to be in bad taste to me.

Right, Says me...

Because I certainly would feel great playing on a plasma screen TV with my Xbox and Quake4 with my wireless controller that I won from a game done in poor taste and incorporating an american man's murder into the puzzle solution.

Maybe SO can make where you can't see the game so you will not be offended.

I personally think...

That people who are offended by this game should sabotage it. I'm not going to do anything of the sort, but I don't think it is morally right for someone to win such a game.

And if you DO? that says a lot about you as a person.

Crossing the LINE?

Using someone's MURDER is crossing the line for a GAME!!! And Me suggesting that nobody should have the right to WIN such a ridiculously offensive game is me crossing the LINE?

ooh a game, can I play?
I bet you the same people complaining play those Desert Storm and other extremely graphic games where they actually do the killing of people. And who was Nick Berg anyway? Have you even read all the Nick Berg material on this and other places? If you don't want to play can you please just stop posting so I can win an xbox. And thanks to the person who put the links to the clues in the thread.

Question to the Game People: By what date will the last clue be given?

Here is what I found when searching for J-Rod:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

It is about timelines.

How about the name areH

Hera

In creating an artificial environment that involves possible posts from a time traveler that foretells future events, one of the concerns was an overall accuracy of the environment... the thread.

Our astute members discovered the "possible game nature" of these posts, and many of the posts, much sooner than anticipated.

The "artificial environment" of aged threads needed a degree of contextual accuracy. In the case of the thread titled, "Mr. Berg", the response from the first member replying "hello, goodbye" in the assumption (within the artificial environment of the aged game threads before the assassination) that the thread author would soon be banned. This would have been a reasonably accurate response.

In vetting this game, we didn't anticipate the post would cause offense. For that I apologize. The intent was/is to create a challenging puzzle based on the themes discussed on ATS, and reward a member.

The post was removed.

I do agree with you Crystalsword, it does seem to be in bad taste - but everyone to their own - if people want to play let them play - but we don't have to be a part of it.
