Just for your information the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Station No. 6 Bulb continues as a night light since 1901. It has not burned out of course, and it has been continuously on since then. It even has a twin as a spare they tested recently. Below you can see a link, and images, on the bottom is from their web cam which you can refresh every 10 seconds or so.

For ATS readers, the Livermore Centennial Bulb continues to glow. Recent news has suggested the outlawing of the venerable standard light bulb. No one mentions the mercury disposal problem of neon light bulbs. Well here's to opening this up for comments again.

Check out the link above, since it works today.

The New Bulbcam is Working!!!

Unlike the bulb, the first camera had a limited life of about 3 years. We are hoping this one will give the bulb a run for it's money.

This Cam image will continue to be updated every 10 seconds. So to enjoy the view of Fire Station Number 6 either hit your refresh button, or click the picture above!.
