Does anyone here know anything about Soviet SAM systems?

If so, was the SA-2 'Guideline' Missile (the actual missile, not the associated fire/control systems) officially called in Russia a V-75 or a V-750?
Note the extra zero, if you will.

This information is ridiculously hard to find. Even FAS contradicts itself.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't contradict itself. Apparently it was called both. I'm not sure what the differences are, but the Soviet SA-2 was the V-75, and the Chinese copied the V-750 for their HQ1/2 systems.

Always check GlobalSecurity.org when you need information. They're GREAT for stuff like this. They're my first source all the time when I need to know something.
