I was curious if anyone knows of any BF sightings on an island? If there were any than why doesnt the BFRO get an expedition together and canvas the island if it is possible. I know there would be alot of planning and logistics included with such a task but think about the outcome. If someone is 100% positive that there is a BF or family of them on an island (Alaska or B.C. ?) then who knows what would be found.

We get Sasquatch sightings out here on Vancouver Island relatively frequently. Canvassing all of VI like you propose, though, would be an impossible undertaking - at 31 284 square kilometres (12,076 square miles), it's a bit too big to string a line of people across and march from one end to the other search-and-rescue style.

Some relevant links (from a quick Google search). They're out here.

And they also swim so if it's a small island it probably got there by swimming and is probably long gone now, the Norway house sighting involved a river island iirc
