We get Sasquatch sightings out here on Vancouver Island relatively frequently. Canvassing all of VI like you propose, though, would be an impossible
undertaking - at 31 284 square kilometres (12,076 square miles), it's a bit too big to string a line of people across and march from one end to the
other search-and-rescue style.
