Today's society is filled with sex and it's really pissing me off. It's everywhere! How are future generations ever going to learn anything when all they see is sex!

Today's pop "music" isn't even about music, it's about how good looking the "artist" is, it's disgusting. I'm trying to stop my soon to be 15 year old sister to stop watching television because I don't want her ending up like a lot of the morons out there who are constantly fixated on sex.

I bet you're all thinking, "Woah, I've never heard of a 17 year old male rant about sex before". You're damn right you haven't cause most of them are too busy thinking about the damn thing!

When ever some girl comes on TV or walks by me and my friends, they say, "Ooof, I'd do her" and it's DISGUSTING!

There's more to life than sex, for God's sake!

Well living as one of these sex obsessed teenagers, I think that its completely natural. Yes some things have gotten out of hand, but its not all bad. Come, become one of us.

What's screwed up about it is that we are treated as though it's such a taboo (just look at the rating system of movies), but bombarded with sexual images constantly, most of the time to sell something. Talk about a repressed country. You almost have to question if it's all intentional.

Male 17 year olds aint fixed on sex. some 13 year olds are though

I teach 8th grade and you are right, they are sex obessed but can you really expect much else? Biology isnt it?

dont worry all, im 40 and still obsessed by sex, trouble is im married have 4 kids, a mortgage, work 50 hrs a week and have absolutely no time left to engage my obsession. My advice, enjoy while you still can. Ahhh i still remember those good ole days.

Todays market has not come to realize anything they did not know 50 years ago.. Sex Sells!

Only todays norms are alot more permitting than those 50 years ago. We the people have allowed this.. and sadly probably no end in sight.

Although I'd have to agree that it gets excessive. Film directors are probably just too damn horny for their own goods. Ever play Vice City?...You'd know what I mean.

Sex is nice and all, but any thorough cost-benefit analysis of having a girlfriend will quickly inform one that one is perhaps better off taking advantage of the Internet's vast selection of pornography.

Indeed I do, such as, the other pointless and needless thing in life; making money. Even sex ties in with money, porn stars make loads! As do prostitutes. The whole world is sex mad!

Personally, I think sex is overrated.

Other examples include, finding yourself (NOT sexually!), personal interests (NOT sexual interests!), etc. Personally, my "more to life" activites will include travelling once I get enough money. I'm also currently writing/recording my album. See, completely nothing to do with sex. If none of humanity is capable of living a month without sex, that's quite sad and I'm ashamed of being a part of the human race.

By the way, I'm not completely against sex, I just think todays Western society is too keen on it. Also, if you're wondering, I have no trouble satisfying a women and this post is not a rant about me hating sex because I'm rubbish at it, 'cause... well... apparantly, Im not.
