I was looking a map of the planet i have and noticed that Kentuckey is pretty much on the other side of the planet in relation to the iranian and pakistany earthquakes there also being a huge fault in kentuckey.

So is it logical that one can conclude(theoretically) that ky is due for a really big one since it happened on the otehr side of the planet in corellation to where it is located.

I know I live in LA and should be afraid for my own well being and I am, about the earthquakes and even more so about yellowstone and the massive volcanoe under that.

Any feedback as to the thought would be appreciated

The New Madrid fault is active, though not as active as California. There's another thread discussing this, actually, with more info there.
