How is 2 million people signing a petition to remove our inept govenor a scam? They were citizens from all walks of life,and covered the political spectrum. Finally the people have stood up and demanded a change.

What makes sense is that Gray Davis signed on the dotted line some REALLY BAD contracts.

What makes sense is that in their frantic desire to EXPORT THEIR POLLUTION TO OTHER STATES, the governor was willing to sign anything, figuring that they would get bailed out by the feds.

Yeah... Enron and other energy companies screwed them. Obviously, the Davis administration decided to not have any oversight of the energy suppliers.

When the Bush administration decided not to PAY FOR DAVIS' MISMANAGEMENT, Davis was doubly screwed.

And here we are. What sense does it make for Bustamante to sue Enron. You can't squeze blood from a turnip. The whole mess is in the past except for the corruption lawsuits.

What has brought down the California economy is the fall of the hi-tech industry which is primarily located there. When it went down the tax and spend policies of the left-wing illegal immigrant butt-kissing California government began to sag under all the pressures.

Electricity is one of a large number of problems in California but the liberal left would have you believe that all those union jobs in threat was the end of the known world about to unfold.

Of course they never say how it is in their best interests to cry about this stuff. We do what we do for you they cry to the common man, only to line their pockets with gold while laughing behind your back. Thanks but no thanks, I would rather deal with a greedy person to their face.

there's no way the Constitution will be amended so Arnie can become president. that's just too stupid. the citizenship rule has been in the Constutition since day one (even George Washington was native-born), and I can't see people becoming worked up enough to change something so big.

I did read the e-mails. And there is nothing there. Nothing. At least about Arnie.

col, did you look at the list of attendees? Are you covering up the identities of a couple of them? Hmmmm?

For example, Bruce Karatz, Chairman , President & CEO of Kaufman & Broad.
Bruce is a huge Democrap suporter. Major dollars. What's more you ask? Remember John Huang? Remember the little Clinton fund raising scandal that was investigated in the senate? I'm sure you'ld like to forget. Let me remind you col. It was at a dinner at the home of Mr Karatz that John Huang, Chinese trade official Shen Jueren and Al Gore likely met. Gore claims that he didn't remember. I'm sure he remembered the money that John Huang was throwing in the coffers.

Well anyway, Democrap operative Bruce Karatz was in the same meeting with Ken Lay that was attended by Arnie.

Another meeting included a former "most trusted and loyal aide" for a sitting California Democrap congresswoman, and a gentleman who is a major Democrap suporter and wannabe Democrap policy wonk.

So, col., obviously everything discussed has been known at Democrap headquarters. Why haven't they said anything? Maybe they are complicit?
