Damocles 357:That's it. Better than the remake.
Taikonaut: That's the one,Superman 3.

Another one: Who is the greater fool? The fool, or the one who follows it?

Too easy, point...that's from Episode 4...Ben Kenobi

New one: "Jesus, Bob...what button did you push?"

I've heard of the "what button" one but can't place it.

Another easy one: "Pass me the hydrospanners"

and "We... are going... to die!!"

point...can't think of your hydrospanners one...

But the second one is definitely said in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" when they're stuck in the cave with the booby trap (and all the nasty bugs!).

I thought I'd just bring up all the unanswered posts to date:

point:
"I don't want no has- been messin' in my corner" - "And you better get thta bad look off your face before I knock it off!" - Rocky III, I can't believe I didn't pick this earlier.

"Pass me the hydrospanners" - Science fiction?

Beezlebubba:
"King Kong ain't got s*** on me" - A bad guy?

"Thus far I find you rather repulsive, may I say that without hurting your feelings" - I've heard this, sounds like a big time movie.

Damocles357:
"Jesus, Bob...what button did you push?" - Nothing to do with Jesus?

Here's a new one:
"I'm your density....I mean...your destiny."

mytym:

The "King Kong" quote was said by the baddest guy in 80's film.

The "repulsive" quote comes from the baddest guy in 70's film.

If I name the main actors in these films, it would be a dead giveaway.

Here are some clues:

KK- Soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder

repulsive- Starred Roy Scheider and William Devane in lesser roles.

Heres one:

"Well it looks like I forgot to bring my sword.."

*sound of sword being unsheathed*

point...if it's the same actor on the hydrospanners, then I'll guess Bladerunner. Is that it?

C'mon, folks, this one's not that hard...it's said in the first 10 minutes of the movie...

"Jesus, Bob, what button did you push?"

No, Jesus is not involved. But a bomb is...

Damocles357: It's from "Speed" isn't it?

The 'hydrospannners' quote has got me, keep thinking it's one of the 'Star Wars' films, but they don't have Crispin Glover in them.

Ok heres a hard one. You get this and... well, your a nerd like me:

"The feeling is definetly there. It's a new morning in America. Fresh, vital. The old cynnisysm is gone. We have faith in our leaders, we're optomistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ablility to accept. We don't need pessimissm. There are no limits..."

(Heres a hint for any punks out there reading this: this quote played in part of a Good Riddance song)

Yeah, Hydrospanners - Empire Strikes Back

Insane world - Terminator 2 ?

Don't know 'swords'

'New morning in America' sounds familiar

A couple more,
"There's some... THING... on the wing of the plane"

"Who's laughing now?"

Ok, heres the answers:

1) Serenity!!!!!!!!! - The Alliance Agent says it, after River Tam is rescued.

2)They Live - On the TV behind Roddy Piper when hes in the convience store.

Beelzebubba, you've stumped me on your last one, guess I havent seen whatever movie thats from.

Dang ViolatoR, I should have known the 'They Live' quote, it's one of my favourite films. Haven't seen Serenity.

The answers to my two earlier quotes are:

"King Kong ain't got s*** on me!" - Denzel Washington, 'Training Day'

"Thus far I find you rather repulsive, may I say that without hurting your feelings?" - Sir Laurence Olivier, 'Marathon Man'

My latest quote is said by Albert Finney.
