Band Sticker on Bike Prompts Bomb Scare

We are supposed to be paranoid. If we are going to be paranoid and everyone is a suspect, they did the right thing by taking this bike and they should charge him with terrorism.

Its that kind of world.

Update to the story, the student was released after questioning. No charges were filed, either. An investigation is still going on, but I'm not sure to what end.

So, cops saw a bike with a sticker saying, "This bike is a pipe bomb". Some of you found that odd that they would investigate that, but do you find it odd that they investigate bomb threats? The student was questioned, but no charges were filed. Chances are, the cops wanted to know if this was an intentional action, or if he just wasn't thinking.

Nothing out of the ordinary here except the end result that it turned out to be a punk band's name. Police handled it as they would any bomb threat.
