It's because they're hundreds of light years away that the Hubble can take pictures of them. The Moon is a bit too close and too bright for the
Hubble to handle.
Face it. We went to the Moon, we didn't find anything but a lot of rocks, people got bored and started complaining, and Nixon cut the program
because he needed something to cut in the budget and the Moon trip was always a big Kennedy program, and he didn't exactly like Kennedy. And that's
pretty much the end of the whole boring story. It would be a lot more fun and interesting if there were some conspiracies involved. But, no...
