I have to admit that I never got a chance to watch "HR Pufnstuf" that much because I was in the military at the time it was on, but just the idea of
a giant lizard with a Texas accent sporting white majorette boots always struck me as hilarious. I also have to admit that I've never seen
"Oliver," either. In fact, except for seeing a few seconds of several episodes of "HR Pufnstuf," I don't think I ever seen
Jack Wild do anything. Anyway, now he's dead in what has to be a particularly bad week for
actors.
