The President of Iran today denounced the accusations of having mined the straits of Hormuz and promised all its allies they would receive copies of safe passage if such an accusation were true.

He also stated, "Iran will stop the flow of its precious oil to the infidels and warmongers that are so bent on attacking us. Iran will only send oil to its allies. All who attempt to intercept the oil flow to our allies will be met with certain death. Allah is with us, the Mahdi will return soon."

The NPPK government today praised the efforts of its friend and Allie Iran. The spokesman went on to say 'It will take a lot more then lies by the Western criminals to stop trade between our allies.''

When asked about the increased tension between the USA and Iran, he stated ''I would like to remind everyone that any aggression shown to Iran or our merchant vessels, WILL be considered an act of WAR and will be met with the full force of the NPPK military.'' He then stated, '' We do not want war, but please don't think we are not willing to defend ourselves.''

-We will not revoke our non existent arms deal with Korea ,although if such a deal existed we have a right to buy arms to defend ourselves.

-My borders are enforced and are not up for renegotiation the UN helped in this matter.

-We do not recognise any no fly zone and retaliate if fired upon.

-We will not be bullied by the US and urge you to leave our merchent ships alone after all they are non-military.

The Iranian President released a speech to the press today which was made earlier before the supreme Iranian Council. The text of the speech follows:

"Though the evil of the Godless West and its friendship with the illegal state of Isreal, May Allah destroy them soon, is bringing hardship and sorrow once again the just and mighty state of Iran, I am here today to tell you that we will not just survive, we will conquor.

Iran denies all the lies and charges brought against it by the minions of satan and the evil eye of the damned. We are not responsible for the mines in the gulf and had no part in the destruction of the diplomatic plane or the attacks on the Suez Canal.

We will not rule out these actions though if our nation or our people are threatened even more than they already are.

This is CNN with a breaking news bulletin.

At least three US Navy ships have been damaged, with at least one more in serious danger of sinking in the Suez Canal region. During the night a large number of Iranian small boats attacked the US Navy group blockading the area. Two Arleigh Burke destroyers, and two Oliver Hazard Perry class Frigates were damage. One Perry class ship is in serious danger of sinking. No word on casualties at this time. There were approximately 20 small boats involved in the attack.

The President of Iran made a sudden appearance before the media to respond to the allegations.

"The Great Nation of Iran is not involved in ANY way with the attacks on the US Warships in the suez. It is obviusly a ploy by the west to blame Iran for something it was NOT involved in, Just as they destroyed their own towers in New York to justify attacking Aphganistan and Iraq.

Descubierta class light frigate El Aboukir (946) is confirmed to be currently listing just a few miles from the Ravaged US battle group ,it was on route to offer assistance .there is no further information availiable at this time as to who the ship were engaged with, other than the El Aboukir was engaging multiple light vessels with both its otomat 76mm main gun and its 40mm anti aircraft guns.

It is currently having assistance rendered to it by US destroyer,it is not thought to be in danger of sinking.

other ships closest in the region Najim al Zafir (951) a (Jianghu class) light frigate and the Damyat (961) a(Knox class) ASW Frigate are inbound at maximum speed from there designated patrol areas. the Al Meks(103) a (Okhtenskiy class) ocean tug is being deployed to render assistance to the El Aboukir and if neccessary tow it back to port.

*All ports nearest the incident are ready to recieve damaged US ships, any further requests for assistance will be met to the very best of our abilities.

*I seek urgent and imidiate clarification from the Iranians as to their involvement in this incidedant, Egyptian military vessels have been attacked , seemingly by Iranian forces and I demand answers.
