I'm not impressed really. I was hoping he'd be more top heavy like in the comics. I thought for sure they would have him grow in size like Ultimate Venom.

I know what you mean, but I think they are going more for having Venom as a sort of 'doppleganger' of Peter.

His suit is a less refined version of the symbiote on Peter (sloppy fit, warped lines etc). And he looks like a more bestial version of Spider-Man.

Now don't take my opinion on Venom against the whole movie. I still have plenty of faith that this movie is going to rock. To be honest I'm kind of spent on the subject, I've been talking about this all day around the net.

Yeah, it looks like Medi Toy just dropped the ball on the toy design. It happens a lot, just look at the ghost rider action figure



I collect action figures, but only ones that look like the real thing. I used to take my Helraiser action figures, pose them, then photograph them in different situations (ignore the geek quality for a moment will you?). I would never use that venom figure.

That is a $100 figure too
