For the first time, Americans prefer Democrats over the President on the issue of National Security. With the growing concerns over the Dubai Port deal, more and more disturbing information is coming out, like the fact that a UAE sheik gave the Bush family one million dollars in the 90's.

UAE gave $1 million to Bush library

By WENDY BENJAMINSON
Associated Press

A sheik from the United Arab Emirates contributed at least $1 million to the Bush Library Foundation, which established the George Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M University in College Station.

The UAE owns Dubai Port Co., which is taking operations from London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co., which operates six U.S. ports. A political uproar has ensued over the deal, which the White House approved without congressional oversight.

As the evidence is piling up against the Bush administration, it makes you really wonder. Obviously the port deal is not in the interest of the people, it is entirely about money for the Bush family. This may be the reason that no one agrees with the deal except for the administration.

Man, a possibly good submission ruined by bias and politicing in the introduction. This is an important issue, but apparently its not something that anyone will handle fairly.

If the port deal doesn't go through, it'll be because of republicans, because democrats are powerless in the congress, its the republicans that have pushed this issue to the front, not the democrats. The public is in agreement with the republican party here.

agreed on the bias issue. not only is it mentioned in the header, the comment about bush and "it makes you wonder" is also slanted.

nobody disagrees that this stinks like last week's egg salad but the reporting should be as even keeled as possible (I know, it ain't easy with bush but you have to try)

So where do I go to un-bias it? The "edit" option is no longer available.
