Agreed.

But lets not forget the #1 reason we don't have widespread use of nuclear energies: WE STILL HAVE OIL. Lots of really rich old guys continue to multiply their wealth daily. So long as the Texas Tea still flows, we will see the petrol continue to dominate our energy needs. The fact that it costs us more is of no concern to those who hold the reins. It is about $$$.

Too bad the farmers in the Midwest can't form a co-op to produce ethanol and e85. So much corn is gone to waste each year, why? That seems to be the most practical solution since we already have the resources and technologyy.
