Using the Bible to search for crude? That's got to be one of the dumber things I've ever heard. Firstly, if the oil is so deep the writers of that part of the Bible would have had no way of knowing it was there. Second, the Bible would never refer to crude oil as a blessing, because the only thing petrolium was good for back then was for ruining crops. They were probably refering to the oil used in anointing people.
