Ive also heard that a new technology based around Plastiks and synthetics was being worked on to replace conventional LCD screens as well as Silicon in electronics. This would mean cheap LCD like products and computer parts would go down in price even more.

Heck, this should drop prices on plasma as well. Especially if its quality is even near plasma. Though the plasma screens I have seen I can see the little squares that make up the pic, and it annoys the crap outta me. Though the pic quality is still awesome.
