OVER IT! Is everyone just gonna keep up this 9/11 rhetoric under the false premises of this jingoistic righteousness that has mistakenly become known
as patriotism? If they DO actually end up changing the name of the movie (who?s name came from a book written more that 3 DECADES before 9/11 took
place), I don?t think I?m going to be the only person that gets extremely pissed off!! I mean fine, deleting the scenes in Spiderman is one thing
since the event took place only several weeks prior. But this is more than a whole year later! I say LEAVE THE MOVIE?S NAME ALONE!!!

the idea that the movie has been 'intentionally named The Two Towers to capitalise on the events of 9/11' is a complete load of rubbish. why the
hell would anyone choose a name that provokes such a reaction? is it not clear to see that the name was chosen - nay, dictated - way before sep11th,
by Tolkien.
if they really wanted to chip in on '9/11 fever' they would have called it The Twin Towers or something.... sheesh. honestly, its ridiculous.
